SAFEGUARDING OF VULNERABLE ADULTS

 

The Care Act 2014 dictates Local Authority Policy and Procedures to safeguard Adults who have care and support needs.

Our Company Procedures are written with reference and compatibility to these Local Authority Procedures to ensure any Adult receiving our care and support services are safeguarded.

We have a duty to report any allegation of abuse received, to the Local Authority responsible for the area where the abuse occurred.

All staff employed by the North London Homecare & Support Ltd, receive training in Safeguarding procedures annually. They are aware of the differing forms of abuse, the signs and symptoms of these and the reporting procedures to raise concerns of any suspicions of abuse.
